Jennifer Hudson

 Jennifer Kate Hudson (born September 12 1981) and also known by her nickname J.Hud is an American actor, singer, and talk show host. She has received numerous awards for her work in the fields of television, film, theater, and recorded songs throughout her professional career. Hudson was the second African-American woman and the youngest, to be awarded the four most prestigious American entertainment awards: Emmy (Grammy), Oscar, Tony (EGOT), and Oscar (Oscar). She was also awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013. 2. Time listed her as one of the top 100 influential people around the world in 2020. [3]Hudson rose to fame in 2004 when she was she was a finalist in the third season of American Idol, placing seventh. She made her debut in the film as Effie White in the musical Dreamgirls (2006) in which she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, becoming the youngest African-American winner in a category for acting competition. Hudson signed to Arista Records in 2008. Her debut album, self-titled, was certified Gold in the US, UK and won the Grammy Award. Hudson's subsequent albums, I Remember Me (2011), JHUD (2014) and JHUD (2014) both were charted among the top ten on the Billboard 200. The former was also certified Gold in America. Other roles include the movies Sex and the City (2008) and The Secret Life of Bees (2008). Winnie Mandela (2011), Black Nativity (2013) and Cats (2019).
