Lauren Holly

 Her acting career started in the early 20s, when she appeared as Carla Walicki in two episodes of Hill Street Blues. She was a part of the All My Children (1986-1989) cast as Julie Rand Chandler, an ABC soap opera that aired on TV. Holly was the character Betty Cooper, a comic book character in the 1990 TV film Archie: To Riverdale, and Back Again. In 1992, Holly was cast opposite Tom Skerritt as Maxine Stewart who was a deputy sheriff from a small town. She was in every episode, with the exception of one of the CBS Picket Fences seasons. In 1993's Dragon, The Bruce Lee Story in which she played Linda Lee Cadwell, Bruce Lee's wife. She starred as Mary Swanson, Lloyd Christmas's love interest in the 1994 Jim Carrey comedy Dumb and Dumber; a doctor in the 1995 Sydney Pollack remake of Sabrina and Lieutenant Emily Lake in the 1996 comedy Down Periscope with Kelsey Grammer. She was a star in the 1999 movie Any Given Sunday. Holly was also in the music video to the single by Dixie Chicks "Goodbye Earl" (2000). She was a member of the ensemble of NCIS as Director Jenny Shepard from 2005 to 2008, reuniting with her former Chicago Hope co-stars Mark Harmon and Rocky Carroll. Holly played the "worldly and stunning"[8] lead medical examiner Dr. Betty Rogers, a regular character in the CTV show Motive. In 2014, she was brought back together with her Picket Fences co-star, Tom Skerritt, in the film Field of Lost Shoes. [9] In the year 2015, Holly starred in Oz Perkins in the horror film The Blackcoat's Daughter.In 2018, Holly was cast in an ongoing role on the third season of Netflix's Designated Survivor as Lynn Harper.
