Kenya Summer Moore (born January 24, 1971) is an American actress, model and producer. She is also a writer TV personality, and an entrepreneur. Moore is best known for her 1993 win in Miss USA. She also was a part of Bravo's fifth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore rose to fame in 1993, when she won the Miss USA contest and placed within the top six in the Miss Universe pageant. Following Carole Gist, Moore was the second African-American woman be named Miss USA. She also holds the distinction as the first woman with dark skin color to be crowned Miss USA. Moore appeared in several films and TV shows, including Waiting To Exhale (1995) and Deliver Us From Eva(2003), The Steve Harvey Show (2003) and Girlfriends (2004). She is one of the most popular reality shows. She also was a part of the cast of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015, competing on Dancing with the Stars and was part of the initial The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip cast, both in 2021. Moore has been involved in films as well as a book that was published and also appeared in her own workout video. Her involvement in entrepreneurial ventures is another point of interest. She co-founded Kenya Moore Hair, a haircare brand.
