Teresa Palmer

 Palmer was born in Adelaide, South Australia and was raised by her parents, Kevin Palmer, an investor, and Paula Sanders (a former nurse and missionary). Her parents split when she was just three years old, and divorced in 1992 when she was six. Kaaren Palmer is her stepmother. There are two half-sisters and two stepbrothers who resided with her father. Palmer told Interview that she "came from a rather humble beginnings";[5] she lived in a public housing unit with her mother, and was frequently visiting her father on his farm in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills (which she later bought when she was an adult). [2][6][7] Palmer, named after Mother Teresa, was born in a public housing unit with her mother. She also visited her father at his farm in Mylor, which is located in the Adelaide Hills, which she later purchased as an adult. Her first role as an actor was dressing up as an Strawberry Shortcake doll as well as an assistant of the elf to mall Santa Clauses on weekends to promote shopping centers near Adelaide. [12][13(13) Palmer took acting classes for a number of years. She was also a part of several commercials on TV. After high school, Palmer hoped to work as an animal rescuer and create her own animal welfare organization. After getting accepted to a university to study journalism and teaching and was also fascinated by acting. She received a call from an agent asking about being in a student film. The director had seen her head shot on the acting agency's website and asked her to appear part of the film. Palmer quit the school to begin work on the film.
