Broderick Stephen Harvey Jr. [2][3] was born January 17, 1957 and is an American TV producer, actor comedian, host, and producer. He is host of The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud and the Miss Universe competition, Family Feud Africa and the arbitration-based judge comedy Judge Harvey.Harvey began his career as a comedian. In the 1980s, he performed as an actor and host of stand-up comedy Showtime at the Apollo as well as The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. He later appeared in The Original Kings of Comedy following his appearance on the Kings of Comedy Tour. He hosted his last stand-up comedy show in the year 2012. Since 2010 Harvey has been the host of Family Feud as well as Celebrity Family Feud. He has also was the host of Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young, as well as Steve Harvey's Funderdome. Author-wise, he has published four books, including his bestseller Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was released in March 2009.In 2017 Harvey founded Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment firm that runs his production company East 112 and various other ventures. Harvey founded Family Feud in Africa and made a bet with Anthem Sports and Entertainment in the HDNet acquisition. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey are founders and directors of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. This non-profit organization concentrates on the education of youth.
