Shia Saide LaBeouf (/'SaI.@ l@'bf"/ (listen); born June 11 on the 11th of June, 1986) is an American actor, performance artist and filmmaker. His character of Louis Stevens on the Disney Channel series Even Stevens earned him Young Artist Award nominations for 2001 and 2002. Additionally, the actor also received the Daytime Emmy Award for 2003. His debut film was 1998's The Christmas Path. He made his directorial debut in 2004 with Let's Hate. In the following year, he directed Maniac (2011) which starred Kid Cudi and Cage. In 2007 LaBeouf was in the role of Surf's Up and Disturbia. He was also cast as Sam Witwicky in Michael Bay's science-fiction film Transformers in the year. Transformers was a box-office hit and was among the top film of 2007. LaBeouf later appeared in its sequels Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) which were also box-office successes. In 2008, he was the character Henry "Mutt Williams" Jones III in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.His other credits include the films Holes (2003), Constantine (2005), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010), Lawless (2012), The Company You Keep (2012), Nymphomaniac (2013), Charlie Countryman (2013), Fury (2014), American Honey (2016), Borg McEnroe vs McEnroe (2017), Honey Boy (2019), The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019), Pieces of a Woman (2020) and Padre Pio (2022).
