Seth Rogen

 Seth Aaron Rogen (/'roUg@n/ born on April 15, 1982) is a Canadian-American actor as well as a comedian and film maker. He began his career in Vancouver as a stand-up comedian. After a stint on Juddah Apatow's series Freaks and Geeks in Los Angeles and a subsequent offer of an appearance on the sitcom of Apatow Undeclared. Apatow also hired him to be a writer. Apatow assisted Rogen to pursue a career in film after landing the job of a staff writer for the final season on Da Ali G Show. Apatow was nominated as a Primetime Emmy Award nominee for Outstanding Writing in the field of Variety Series. His first film role was in Donnie Darko (2001). Rogen was given a role of support and was also credited as co-producer of Apatow's debut directorial effort, The 40-Year-Old Lady (2005). Universal Pictures cast him in the leading role in Apatow’s film series Knocked up (2007) and Funny People (2008). Rogen together with Evan Goldberg, wrote the films Superbad (2007) and Pineapple Express (2008). He also directed This Is the End (2014). Rogen was also an actor in all four films. Rogen also starred in the comedy Neighbors (2014) as well as its 2016 sequel, The Disaster Artist (2017), Long Shot (2019) and An American Pickle (2020).In 2016, he developed the AMC television show Preacher alongside Evan Goldberg and Sam Catlin. Alongside Goldberg, he's an executive producer, writer, and director. Rogen is also famous for his dramatic performances in the Jonathan Levine drama 50/50 (2011) Sarah Polley's drama Take This Waltz (2011) Danny Boyle's biographical comedy Steve Jobs (2015) and Steven Spielberg's coming-of age film The Fabelmans (2022).He's also known for his voice roles in Shrek the Third (2007), Horton Hears a Who! (2008), The Kung Fu Panda Trilogy, The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008) and Monsters vs. Aliens (2009). He also voiced the characters in Take This Waltz (2011), Paul (2011), Sausage Party (2016) and The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023).
