Rosamund Pike

 Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike was born in 1979. Pike was awarded many awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated for Academy Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Her screen debut was in A Rather English Marriage (1998) and was awarded the Empire Award for Best Newcomer for her debut film role as Bond Girl Miranda Frost in Die Another Day (2002). After her breakthrough, she was awarded the BIFA Award as Best Supporting Actress for The Libertine (2004). She also portrayed Jane Bennet in Pride & Prejudice (2005). In 2002, Pike was nominated for the British Independent Film Award for her performances in Made in Dagenham (2009) and An Education (2009). The actress also appeared in mainstream films such as Johnny English Reborn (2011) and Wrath of the Titans (2012). The performance she made in the psychological thriller Gone Girl (2014) received high praise, earning the Saturn Award for Best Actress and being nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.Pike was the character Ruth Williams Khama in the biopic A United Kingdom (2016) as well as Marie Colvin in the war film A Private War (2018) and received nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in the field of Motion Picture - Drama. She was awarded an award for her performance in the film A Private War, a Primetime Emmy Award for her role in State of the Union (2019) as well as the Golden Globe Award for her performance in I Care a Lot (2020). She has been a star in The Wheel of Time, an Amazon fantasy series since 2021.
