Anderson came to public prominence following her selection as the February 1990 Playmate of the Month by Playboy.She was later to appear on the cover of the magazine, and holds the record for the most Playboy covers of any person.Anderson gained recognition to more people in 1991 when she appeared in the ABC sitcom Home Improvement, playing the character of Lisa for the first two seasons. Her starring role in "C.J." earned her fame internationally. Parker's leading role as "C.J." in the television series Baywatch (1992-1997) added to her stature and confirmed her place as an international iconic sex icon. She played Vallery Irons in the syndicated TV series V.I.P. (1998-2002) and was a character on Skyler Dayton in the Fox sitcom Stacked (2005-2006). Anderson's film credits include Raw Justice (1994), Barb Wire (1996), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Superhero Movie, Blonde and Blonder (both 2008), The Institute, Baywatch (both 2017) and City Hunter (2018). Anderson was a part of her own documentary series in 2008 which she also co-directed, and she has since appeared in numerous reality television shows, such as Dancing with the Stars (2010, 2012), VIP Brother (2012), Dancing on Ice (2013), as well as Danse avec les stars (2018) Anderson has publicly supported various charitable causes, particularly animal rights, and has also endorsed PETA activities. She has also released two autobiographies and four novels. Anderson received a star on the Canadian Walk of Fame in 2006. [8] She is a dual citizen with American and Canadian citizenship
