 Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, /k@’mi:l@/ k@’beIoU/; American Spanish pronunciation: [ka'mila ka'bejo] born on March 3, 1997; is an American artist and singer. 2] She became a star as a member the girl group Fifth Harmony. It was one of the most successful girl groups ever. While in Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo performer after the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the album achieving number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. In the latter half of 2016, she quit Fifth Harmony. Her debut album as a studio artist, Camila (2018) reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The RIAA granted the platinum certificate to the album that was influenced by Latin music. It was well received by reviewers. Its lead single "Havana" has topped the charts in a variety of countries, including the US and the UK as well as the follow-up single "Never Be the Same" reached the top ten across several countries. Cabello's 2019 duet "Senorita" featuring Mendes was her second top 100 single. Her second studio album, Romance (2019), peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the single "My Oh My" peaking at number 12 on the Hot 100[3and within the top ten of multiple countries.In 2021, Cabello made her acting debut, starring as the title character from the film Cinderella. Cabello's third studio album Familia was released in April 2022. The album's lead single, "Don’t Go Yet", came out in July 2021. The second track from Familia, "Bam Bam" made it to the top five of the Billboard Global 200 Chart, Cabello's highest entry and peaked within the top ten of various countries. It also peaked at 21 on the Billboard Hot 100. Familia was ranked at 10 on the Billboard 200 chart,[3at number 9 in the UK and number six in Canada.
