Ozzy Osbourne

 John Michael "Ozzy", born on the 3rd of December 1948 is a famous English singer, songwriter , and television host. Osbourne rose to fame in the 1970s when he was the singer-lead of the Black Sabbath heavy metal group. He was born in Birmingham and sung on each album, starting with the first album, released in 1970, to the album Technical Ecstasy, in 1976. They had a huge impact on the development of heavy music, particularly their critically well-received albums Paranoid and Master of Reality. Osbourne was fired by Black Sabbath in 1979 for his drug and alcohol problems. He would later be a successful and successful solo artist, releasing 13 studio albums. The first seven received multi-platinum certifications here in the USA. Osbourne has been reunited with Black Sabbath several times since. He returned in 1997 and helped record the group's final studio album 13 (2013), before they embarked on a farewell tour which concluded with a February 2017 performance in their home town, Birmingham. His longevity and popularity have earned him the nebulous designation of "Godfather of Metal". The total album sales of Ozzy Osbourne from Black Sabbath plus his solo work has surpassed 100 million. In 2008, Osbourne was inducted in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his involvement with Black Sabbath and the UK Music Hall of Fame, both as a solo performer and a member of the band. He was awarded stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Birmingham Walk of Stars. He was awarded the Global Icon Award at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards. Osbourne was honored with the Ivor Novello Award by the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers in 2015 to recognize his career-long achievements.
