Natalie Portman


 Natalie Hershlag (born Natalie Hershlag; Hebrew: [2] Hebrew: nTly hrSHlg on June 9 in 1981) is an American-Israeli-born actress. She has enjoyed a successful film career since the age of teen and has appeared in a variety of blockbusters and independent films, receiving multiple accolades which include an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.Portman began her acting career at the age of twelve, when she starred as a young protégé of an infamous hitman in the action movie Leon: The Professional (1994). At the age of 16 she starred in The Diary of a Young Girl on Broadway in 1998. She was also recognized for her performance in Padme Amidala (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace) (1999). She was a student at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, and graduated with a bachelor's in psychology. Portman diminished her acting roles but continued to appear in Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002 and 2005) as well as in The Public Theater's 2001 revival Anton Chekhov play The Seagull. In 2004, Portman was nominated by the Academy Award in Best Supporting Actress. She also received an award called the Golden Globe Award for her role in Closer, a romantic drama about a mysterious stripper. Her career continued to grow by her leading roles in films such in the films V for Vendetta (2005), Evey Hammond in V for Vendetta (2005) and Anne Boleyn in The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), and a ballerina who was troubled in the psychological thriller Black Swan (2010), in which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress. Portman then appeared in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached (2011) and portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the biopic Jackie (2016) and resulted in her third Academy Award nomination. Portman also played Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Love and Thunder (222). This made her one of the highest-paid actors worldwide.
