Minka Kelly

 After graduating from Valley High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico,[9] Kelly moved back to Los Angeles. When she was on the set of a trial shoot with an agency that was modeling, she was approached by a former Playboy Playmate who was interested in managing her. She helped Kelly find work as a receptionist at an office of a surgeon who offered Kelly breast an augmentation procedure in exchange for hours worked. Kelly decided against getting the procedure and was dismissed. Kelly was exposed to the medical field and she decided to go back to school to study to become a surgeon’s assistant. Kelly then became scrub tech. Kelly continued to try out for roles on TV and in film throughout the time she worked engaged in this profession. In 2003, she made her acting debut in The Turbo Charged Prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious. The short film is an introduction of six minutes for the action movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. The film was later followed by an appearance on Cracking Up. Kelly has since been featured in a number of television shows such as Entourage, Drake & Josh as well as American Dreams. Kelly was offered a three-episode regular role on The WB comedy series What I Like About You in 2005. In April of 2006, Kelly was appointed a series regular to the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights. The show was inspired by the high-school football film with the same title. It follows a football team from a high school team in the fictional small town of Dillon. Kelly was Lyla Garrity, an high school cheerleader and student. Kelly trained with the Pflugerville High School cheerleading team in preparation for her character. The show premiered on October 3 of 2006, with Kelly getting praise for her performance with The New York Times calling her performance "heartbreaking." In the final episode of the third season of the show, Kelly quit the show as her character left for collegeIn the year 2006, Kelly starred in the horror film The Pumpkin Karver as Tammy Boyles, and had a bit role in State's Evidence. In 2007, she was reunited with Friday Night Lights creator Peter Berg in the movie The Kingdom in an appearance as Ms. Ross alongside Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner. Also, she appeared in the film 500 Days of Summer's closing scene as Autumn, possibly a new romantic attraction for Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Kelly was cast in August 2008 as the protagonist of The CW's pilot series Body Politic. She played Francesca "Frankie" Foster, who moves to Washington, D.C. to work for a senator and befriends a group of young and talented actors. The show was not picked by The CW despite critical praise. Kelly was also participant in the pilot for CBS' comedy show that lasted only a few episodes Mad Love. She played the role as Kate in Midwestern girl Henry, and they fell in love in the Empire State Building. Kelly was replaced by Sarah Chalke when the series was renewed. [13] Kelly was an actor on Parenthood which is an NBC drama. Kelly played Max's behavioral aide. Kelly played a role in nine additional episodes before her last appearance on "Taking the Leap" which aired on March 29, 2011. The same year, Kelly was named "Sexiest woman alive" in the annual Esquire magazine special. [5] She accepted an acting role in the Off Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore for the period of April 27-29, 2011. run with Conchata Ferrell, AnnaLynne McCord, Anne Meara and B. Smith.In December of 2010, ABC announced that Kelly was to be part of the planned reboot of the crime drama Charlie's Angels. She played the role of street racer Eve French. The pilot was filmed in March 2011 and the show was picked up on May 13, 2011. Charlie's Angels aired to more than 8.76 million viewers on September 22, 2011. It received mostly negative reviews from critics. Despite a planned 13 episodes, ABC cancelled the series following the premier of the fourth episode due to low ratings. The show ended on November 10, the 10th of November.
