James Thomas Fallon was born on September 19 1974. He is an American comedian and actor. He is most well-known for his work as the Saturday Night Live cast member and host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was asked to join Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a long-standing dream. Between 1998 and 2004, he served as the Weekend Update host on Saturday Night Live. He became well-known in the role. Fallon left SNL to star in films like Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005). In 2009, Fallon was back on the television show hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NBC. He is popular for his work on video gaming and music. He moved from that show to become the sixth permanent host of the long-running Tonight Show in 2014. He also published two comedy albums, primarily aimed at children.
