Meek Mill

 Robert Rihmeek Williams (born May 6, 1987),[2] known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper from America. Meek Mill was born in Philadelphia and grew up there. He began his music career as a battle rapper and then formed the infamous hip-hop group, The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. T.I. signed Meek Mill to his debut record deal in 2008. In February 2011, following having left Grand Hustle Records, Mill signed with singer Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG). Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares was released by Warner Bros. Records and MMG in 2012. The album, preceded by the lead single "Amen" (featuring Drake), peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200. In October 2012, Mill announced the launch of his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records. The label was named after the mixtapes he released. Meek Mill is often a partner with MMG label-mates. The first two songs, "Tupac Back" and "Ima Boss" were featured in Volume 1. The album he released was his second, Dreams Worth More Than Money, in 2015 and the third album, Wins & Losses, in the year 2016. In November of 2018 his fourth studio album, Championships was released. It debuted at the top on the Billboard 200 charts. The lead single, "Going Bad", featuring Drake was a top-charting the 6th spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This was Mill's highest-charting single. Meek's fifth album, Expensive Pain, was released on the 1st of October 2021.In November 2017 Meek was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating parole, prior to being released while his trial continues after serving five months in prison. In August 2019, a documentary series about his battle with the justice system for criminals, called Free Meek, debuted through Amazon Prime Video. Mill was executive producer for the show alongside his fellow rapper Jay-Z. Mill and Jay-Z were also co-founders of the non-profit Reform Alliance, which focuses primarily on probation, parole justice, parole, and reform.
