Maureen McCormick

 American actress Maureen Denise McCormick was born on August 5, 1956. Marcia Brady was her role in the sitcom of ABC, The Brady Bunch. She reprised her role in a variety of Brady Bunch films and spin-offs like The Brady Kids, The Brady Bunch Hour and The Brady Brides. McCormick was Moody's mother on The Amanda Show. McCormick was also featured in The Idolmaker (1980), and a variety of others supporting roles. McCormick started acting on stage in the late 1980s and early the 1990s. She was in numerous roles such as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan, Betty Rizzo, Grease, as well as Betty Rizzo, in Grease. McCormick also released four studio albums with The Brady Bunch and toured with the group. McCormick's sole album released as a solo artist is called When You Are The Right Little lonely (1995) which was an album of country music. Despite her success as a professional in the form of The Brady Bunch and its spinoffs, McCormick had a difficult personal life. McCormick's addiction to cocaine, quaaludes and episodes of bipolar disorder resulted in her losing her popularity as an actress. McCormick has appeared on a variety of reality TV shows such as VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, CMT's Gone Country, and Outsiders Inn which resulted in the creation of a short-lived show. McCormick's autobiography from 2008, Here's the Story: How I Survived Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice debuted at number 4 on The New York Times bestsellers list.
