Bilson made her screen acting debut in 2003 when she was selected for the episode Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The O.C. debuted in August 2003 and Bilson was named Summer Roberts. Her character, Summer Roberts, was originally planned to appear in just a handful of episodes, but was made a regular character after the show's success, and Bilson's on-screen romance with Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) became a noted aspect of the series.At the 2005 Teen Choice Awards, she collected three awards: "Choice Hottie Female," "Choice TV Actress (Drama)" and "Best Onscreen TV Chemistry" (jointly awarded with Adam Brody). [12] In 2005, Maxim magazine named her sixth in their annual "Hot 100 List";[13In 2006, the magazine awarded her the UK edition of FHM Magazine named her 28th in the 100 Sexiest Women in the World list, while the US Edition Ranked her 77th in 2005. [16] Bilson was also named among People's "World's most beautiful people" in the year 2006. [17The 17-year-old Bilson was also named one of People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful People" in 2006. She played a college student who enticed Braff. One review noted that Bilson played the part with "surprising depth,"[19]. However, another reviewer said she was Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction as "Glenn Close" [19] and "Glenn Close with Fatal Attraction as a hot valley girl with an airhead body."
