 Kristen Jaymes Stewart (born April 9th 1990) is an American actor. The highest-paid actress in the world in 2012, she's received many awards which include an award from the British Academy Film Award and an Cesar Award, in addition to nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Born and raised in Los Angeles to parents who were both employed in the entertainment industry, Stewart first gained notice at the age of 12 due to her role in the role of the daughter of Jodie Foster's character in David Fincher's suspense thriller Panic Room (2002), which resulted in an Young Artist Award nomination. In the following years, she appeared in Speak (2004), Catch That Kid (2004), Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) as well as Into the Wild (2007). She went on to achieve international fame for her performance in the role of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga film series (2008-2012) that is among the highest-grossing film franchises in the world. For her role she received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2010. After her role in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Stewart eschewed the big budget films in favor of independent productions during the following years. She landed roles in the dramas Camp X-Ray (2014) and Still Alice (2014), and also the science-fiction romantic Equals (2016). Her name was praised for her role in Olivier Assayas drama Clouds of Sils Maria (2015), which earned her the Cesar Award as Best Supporting Actress. Stewart reunited with Assayas in the thriller of supernatural origins Personal Shopper (2016) and made her directorial debut in the short film Come Swim (2017). She made her return to mainstream Hollywood with a leading role in the action film Charlie's Angels (2019) and the romantic comedy film Happiest Season (2020). Stewart's performance as Diana, Princess Of Wales in Pablo Larrain’s biographical drama Spencer (2021) was a hit and received a lot of praise from critics. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
