Kate Capshaw

 Capshaw was born Kathleen Sue Nail on Fort Worth, Texas. She is the daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who was a beauty and travel agent, and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). [4] She moved to St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of five, and graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School in 1972. Capshaw earned a degree from the University of Missouri in education. She was also a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She taught special education at Southern Boone High School, Ashland, Missouri and Rock Bridge High School, Columbia, Missouri. She got married to the marketing manager Robert Capshaw in January 1976 and they had one child named Jessica Capshaw, before getting divorced in 1980. She kept her name Capshaw as her name in the professional world, even though she became an actor.
