Jessica Paré

 Pare was offered a small part in the television film Bonanno: A Godfather's Story during her final year in high school. This role led her to consider acting as a profession. [9] She also had small roles in an episode of the horror television series Big Wolf on Campus and the French film En Vacances (1999). She was kicked out of the Montreal's fine arts school Dawson College and pursued acting for two years. Three years ago she was employed as photographer's assistant for automotive photo shoots.After Pare auditioned for a role in the independent film Stardom (2000) the director Denys Arcand selected her to star in the movie. Pare portrayed an experienced ice hockey player who became a worldwide supermodel. Although it received mixed reviews, the comedy satire closed the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. At the time of the film's debut, Pare was voted the "it girl" in the Canadian film industry. Pare was also listed as among the top 25 Most Beautiful People in 2012 by People 14 years ago and was one of the few Canadian citizens to be given this honor. Pare's next film was Lost and Delirious (2001), which tells the story of two lovers in love who are forced to stay in a girl's' boarding house. In the Sundance Film Festival, it received mixed reviews. However, the performance of Pare, Piper Perabo and Mischa Barton were widely praised. 15. Pare was a part of the TV mini-series Random Passage (2002), inspired by a collection of award-winning novels by Bernice Morgan. The same year, she was in the miniseries on television Napoleon as the emperor's mistress. She also made an appearance as an actress in Deepa Mehta's Bollywood/Hollywood (2002). The next year, she starred in the girl-gang thriller film Posers (2003) which followed which she was in the CTV film The Death and Life of Nancy Eaton in the title role of the murdered heiress Nancy Eaton.Pare made her Hollywood debut in the film Wicker Park (2004). In 2004, she appeared in the mini-series Lives of the Saints, and was a part of the mockumentary See This Movie (2004) and played a part in The WB the teen drama series Jack & Bobby, about two brothers. One of them grows up to be the president of the United States; Pare's character develops into the First Lady.
