Jack Nicholson

 John Joseph Nicholson (born April 22nd, 1937) is an American retired actor and filmmaker. He is considered to be one of the greatest actors of all times. He was an opponent of the system of socialization in many of his movies. His career spanned more than five decades and he was awarded numerous accolades and awards, including three Academy Awards. He also directed three films that include The Two Jakes (1990), the sequel to Chinatown.His twelve Academy Award nominations make Nicholson the most-nominated male actor in the history of the Academy. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and As Good as it Gets (1997). In 1983, he won the Academy Award for Best Performing actor for Terms of Endearment (1983). He has been a three-time Academy Award winner and the only actor to have been nominated for an Academy Award in acting in movies made from the 1960s until the early 2000s. He has won six Golden Globe Awards and received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2001. In 1994, he became one of the actors with the youngest age to receive the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award.
