Isla Lang Fischer (/'aIl@/; was born on 3 February 1976) and is an Australian actress. She was born to Scottish parents in Oman. When she was six years old, old, she moved to Australia to work in television commercials. Fisher was most famous for her role as Shannon Reed in the Australian soap drama Home and Away (1994-97) and received two Logie Awards nominations. Then, she successfully transitioned from TV to Hollywood as she played Mary Jane in the 2002 live-action adaptation of Scooby-Doo. Other notable credits include Swimming Pool (2001), I Heart Huckabees (2006), London (2005) and Wedding Daze (2006). The actress also appeared in The Lookout, Hot Rod (both 2007, 2008), Burke & Hare (2010) and Visions (2015).
