George Foreman

 George Edward Foreman, born on January 10, 1949 George Edward Foreman, born January 10, 1949, is an American ex-professional boxer, entrepreneur, and minister. He was known as "Big George" when it came to boxing, and fought from 1967 until 1997. He was twice a world heavyweight champion and a former Olympic gold medalist. Foreman is most well-known as an entrepreneur and owner of George Foreman Grill. After an unhappy childhood, Foreman began amateur boxing and won the gold medal for the heavyweight division of the 1968 Summer Olympics. He was a professional boxer in 1973, winning the world heavyweight title after beating Joe Frazier during the second round. After twice defending the belt and losing his first professional bout against Muhammad Ali in 1974's Rumble in The Jungle. After losing to Jimmy Young in 1977, Foreman decided to retire. Then he became an licensed Christian minister. In the year following, he made a comeback and was able to win the unified WBA as well as the IBF heavyweight titles. He beat 26-year-old Michael Moorer. He dropped the WBA belt, preferring to not face the title fight that was required after, and following a single successful title defense against Axel Schulz, Foreman relinquished his IBF title as well on June 28th in 1995. The age was 46 and was 169 days old. 6 Foreman, who is 46 years old and aged 169 days, was awarded the world heavyweight boxing title of major honors. He also ranks second in weight class behind Bernard Hopkins (at light-heavyweight). He was retired in 1997 at the age of 48, with a final record of 76 wins (68 knockouts) and 5 losses.
