Joseph Antonio Cartagena (born August 19th 1970) is better known under his stage name Fat Joe, is an American rapper hailing from New York City. He began his music career by being a part of the hip hop group Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C. After forming his solo career, he started working with Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.). He created Terror Squad to record Big Pun, Remy ma, Tony Sunshine and Armageddon. Fat Joe's first solo album, "Represent", was released in 1993. It spawned the hit single "Flow Joe", which reached the top of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs charts. [2] His most commercially successful album has been Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.) It was certified platinum by RIAA[3], and internationally certified silver as well as making the top 100 on many music charts. The most well-known tracks by him include "Lean Back" (2004), "What's Luv?" (2002 with Ja Rule, Ashanti and Ashanti, Ja Rule), "Lean Back" (2006; with Terror Squad) as well as "What's Luv?" (2016; featuring Remy Ma and French Montana and Dre).
