Eva Green

 Eva Gaelle Green (French: [eva ga.el gRen[eva ga.el gRen] Swedish: ['e:va 'gre:n]; born 6 July 1980) is a French model and actress. She is the daughter of actress Marlene Jobert, she started her career in theatre before making her debut on film in the film of Bernardo Bertolucci The Dreamers (2003). The film earned her international acclaim for her performance of Sibylla of Jerusalem, the Queen of Jerusalem in Ridley Scott's epic epic of the past Kingdom of Heaven (2005). She was the lead in James Bond's Bond girl Vesper Lynd, in James Bond's Casino Royale (2006). In recognition of this, she received the BAFTA Rising Star Award. Green has since appeared in numerous independent films like Cracks (2009) and Womb (2010). In 2014, she played Artemisia in the 300 sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire and Ava Lord in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Green is also well-known for her collaborations as a director alongside Tim Burton. She starred in Dark Shadows (2012) as Angelique Bouchard, Miss Alma Peregrine (2016) in the fantasy film Miss Peregrine’s Home for the Peculiar Children as well as Colette Marsant (2019) in Dumbo. In her role as an astronaut mother in the drama film Proxima (2019), she received a nomination for the Cesar Award for Best Actress.
