DMX

 Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970 and died April 9, 2021. He was popularly known by the name DMX (shorthand for "Dark Man X"), actor and rapper from the United American. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998 to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release. In 1999, DMX released... and then There Was X. It included the hit song "Party up (Up in Here). His singles from 2003 "Where is the Hood At?" Commercially, his 2003 singles "Where the Hood is at?" and "X Gon' give It to Ya" were also very successful. The singer was the first to ever launch an album at No.1 in the Billboard 200 charts five times in succession. In total, DMX sold over 74 million records worldwide.DMX was featured in movies such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave, and Last Hour. In 2006, he starred in the reality television series DMX: Soul of a Man, which was primarily aired on the BET cable television network. In 2003, he published an autobiography entitled E.A.R.L. : The Autobiography of DMX. DMX died in the month of April in 2021, following an attack of the heart caused by cocaine.
