Chris Evans (actor)

 Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th in 1981) is an American actor from the United States. He began his career with roles in television series like Opposite Sex in 2000. After appearing in a variety of teenage films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie (2001) Evans was a household name as the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch, in Fantastic Four (2005), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans also appeared in films adaptations of graphic novels as well as comic books such as TMNT (2007) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Endgame (2018) which brought him to a wider audience. His role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise made him one of the top-paid actors. In addition to comic book characters, Evans has starred in the drama Gifted (2017) and the film that focuses on mystery Knives Out (2019), and the mini-series on television Defending Jacob (2020). His directorial debut came in 2014 with the romance drama Before We Go which he produced and starred in. Evans' Broadway debut was in the revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s production Lobby Hero. He received a Drama League Award nomination.
