Busta Rhymes

Trevor George Smith Jr.(born May 20, 1972) is professionally known as Busta Rhymes, is an American actor and rapper. Chuck D, a member of Public Enemy, gave him the name Busta Rhymes in honor of George "Buster", Rhymes (NFL and CFL wide receiver). He's been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards for his work. This makes him one of the most-nominated artists even though he did not get the award. His appearance on "Scenario" by A Tribe Called Quest was what got him noticed. The group disbanded shortly thereafter, and Rhymes became a sought-after solo performer. He performed on a variety of tracks for other artists prior to his solo album, The Coming (1996). The album made it to the Billboard 200 Album Chart's top 10 spots and was certified platinum by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
