Alison Doody

 Doody was approached by a photographer. She began modeling and eventually, it resulted in a job as a commercial model. Doody was adamant about avoiding glamour and sexually explicit work. The same rule was extended to her acting career. [citation needed] Doody was spotted by the casting director for an upcoming James Bond movie and accepted a small role as Jenny Flex in 1985’s A View to a Kill. John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 12 listed Doody as one of the most promising New Actors 1986. 38. Doody was just 19 at the time she played the role, is the youngest Bond girl. [3] Doody also appeared in a small role as Siobhan Donovan who was one of the IRA member in A Prayer for the Dying (1987), starring Mickey Rourke. Doody was also a non-speaker as the wife of Archibald Craven, Lilias in his dream in 1987 TV adaptation of The Secret Garden. Her first lead role was in a 1988 episode of the Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow in the role of Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before taking probably her most high-profile role to date, playing Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in which she starred alongside Harrison Ford. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father; Doody has acted alongside three actors (Moore, Connery, and Brosnan) who have portrayed James Bond.
