Al Pacino

 American actor Alfredo James Pacino (/p@’tSi?noU/; Italian pronunciation: [pa’tSi’noborn April 25 in 1940). Considered one of the most influential actors of the 20th century, he has been awarded numerous awards, including the Academy Award, two Tony Awards as well as two Primetime Emmy Awards, making Pacino one of only a handful of performers to have achieved the Triple Crown of Acting. He also received the AFI Life Achievement Award, Cecil B. DeMille Award, as in addition to the National Medal of Arts. A method actor, Pacino made his film debut at the age of 29 in Me, Natalie (1969). He gained favorable notice for his first lead part as heroin addict in The Panic in Needle Park (1971). Wide acclaim and recognition was his first major role as Michael Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather (1972), in which he was awarded an award nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and he would reprise the role in the sequels The Godfather Part II (1974) and The Godfather Part III (1990). The actor was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for Serpico (1973), The Godfather Part II (1975), Dog Day Afternoon (1975) and...And Justice for All (1979). He won the award for his performance in Scent of a Woman (1992). He was nominated to the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actor for his roles in Dick Tracy (1990), Glengarry Glen Ros (1992) and The Irishman (192019). He also played the role of Tony Montana in Scarface (1983), Carlito Brante in Carlito's Way (93), Benjamin Ruggiero and Lowell Bergman and Lowell Bergman in The Insider (1999). He was also in The Devil's Advocate (1997), Heat (1995), Insomnia (2002) and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2021).
