Abbie Cornish

 Cornish began modeling at 13 when she was a winner of an award in a Dolly Magazine contest. She was also given the Australian Film Institute Young Actor's Award. In 2001, Abbie was the lead character in "Life Support", which was a humorous, often dark, look at Australian living through the ever-present lifestyle show on television. The show's lifestyle experts include Sigourney, a home economics guru who always wears a stylish outfit and is a staunch advocate of "pleasing your man"; Todd, a DIY genius; Rudi, a sleek Sydney Eastern Suburbs General Practitioner who believes that he is in an enviable position, just a bit below God; and urban alternative lifestyle guru/ environmentalist Penne.In 2004, Cornish appeared in the short film that won awards Everything Goes with Hugo Weaving. She was awarded the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in the Leading Role as well as the Best Actress Award at the FCCA and IF Awards and Best Breakthrough Performance at the 2005 Miami International Film Festival for her role in Somersault. Cornish was a co-star with Heath Ledger in Candy, was given a standing ovation from critics. She also been featured in A Good Year, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Kimberly Peirce's Stop-Loss. She garnered widespread acclaim for her role as Fanny Brawne in Jane Campion's 2009 film about the Romantic poet John Keats, Bright Star. Cornish was played by Fanny Brawne for Limitless which is the film adaptation of the novel The Dark Fields[6] by Neil Burger. Also starring Bradley Cooper & Robert De Niro, Cornish was seen in Limitless in April 2010.
