Gemma Arterton

 Gemma Christina Arterton (born 2 February 1986) is an English actor and producer. Following her debut on stage in Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre (2007), Arterton made her feature film debut in the comedy St Trinian's (2007). She played Bond Girl Strawberry Fields in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace (2008) and earned her an Empire Award for Best Newcomer.Arterton has since been featured in a variety of films that include The Disappearance of Alice Creed (2009), Tamara Drewe (2010), Clash of the Titans (2010), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), Their Finest (2016), The Escape (2017), and Vita and Virginia (2018). In recognition of her performance in the production of The Escape, she was given the Harper's Bazaar Woman of the Year Award. Her theatrical highlights include starring in The Duchess of Malfi (2014) and Made in Dagenham (2014). She also played in the films Nell Gwynn (2016), Saint Joan (2017) and Nell Gwynn (2016). Arterton was nominated by Olivier Awards for both Nell Gwynn (2014, Made in Dagenham (2014) Nell Gwynn (2016) and Saint Joan (2017). She was also awarded the Evening Standard Theatre Award. Rebel Park Productions is a production company that focuses on female-led content in front of and behind the camera. She has produced four feature films as well as two short films. Arterton is also a staunch supporter of the Time's Up and ERA 50/50 movements. Arterton has been instrumental in convincing actresses to wear dark shades during the 2018 BAFTAs. This was in support of Time's Up. Arterton has also been involved in ERA 50:50 from the time it was first introduced.
