Travis Scott

 Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name he uses is that of his favorite uncle and the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash song "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. [5] Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first artist to make it to number one in the Hot 100 with three singles within a mere ten years. Scott is well-known as an artist and a prominent figure in pop culture over the course of his career. In addition to his well-publicized connection with American media icon Kylie Jenner, Scott has collaborated with a variety of organizations, including Nike, Dior, and McDonald's. In 2017, Scott founded the record label Cactus Jack Records. Through his entire career, Scott has achieved four #1 songs in the Billboard Hot 100, along with a total of 80 charted songs. Additionally, he has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards and won a Billboard Music Award, Latin Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award as well as multiple BET Hip Hop Awards Scott is also gaining notoriety due to controversies and legal issues regarding the safety of his performances. In November 2021, a mass-casualty crowd swarm occurred during Scott's performance at the Astroworld Festival in his hometown of Houston, Texas, resulting in widespread criticism of the artist
