DeAndre Cortez, born on July 28 1990 was an American musician and producer. After his self-published debut track, "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," reached number one on the U.S. charts and he became famous. Billboard Hot 100, for seven non-consecutive weeks in 2007. [5] He then dropped his debut album Souljaboytellem.com (2007), which featured the hit single "Soulja Girl".His second album iSouljaBoyTellem (2008) also featured in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 Singles: "Turn My Swag On" as well as "Kiss Me Through the Phone". Way, who earned $7 million in 2010 was ranked as 18th on Forbes' list of Hip-Hop Cash Kings of 2010.
