Self-esteem

 Self-esteem is a belief in one's capabilities and self-worth. Self-esteem is a belief about oneself, like "I have been loved", or "I'm worthy" and feelings like despair, triumph and confidence. Smith and Mackie (2007) defined the concept as "The self-concept" that is the way we perceive ourselves. Self-esteem refers to our self-esteem, or our feelings about ourselves. Self-esteem is a mental concept that can predict certain outcomes. It is used to predict success in school as well as happiness, satisfaction with relationships and marriage as well as criminal behavior. Self-esteem can be a specific or global. Psychologists believe that self-esteem is an unaffected personality trait (trait-self-esteem) however there are also regular temporary variations. Self-esteem is often referred to as a synonym or near-synonym include self-worth, self-respect, self-worth as well as self-integrity and self-worth.
