Robin Williams

 Robin McLaurin Williams was an American comedian and actor. He was born on July 21 1951 and passed away August 11, 2014. He is known for his improvised talents as well as the diverse characters he created spontaneously and portrayed on film. Following his first lead film role in Popeye (1980) in which He starred in numerous critically and commercially successful films, such as The World According to Garp (1982), Moscow on the Hudson (1984), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Dead Poets Society (1989), Awakenings (1990), The Fisher King (1991), Patch Adams (1998), One Hour Photo (2002) and World's Greatest Dad (2009). He was also the lead of several box-office hits, including Hook (1991), Aladdin (92), Mrs. Doubtfire (93), Jumanji (1996), The Birdcage (1996), Good Will Hunting (1997) as well as the Night at the Museum trilogy (2006-2014). He was nominated four times for Academy Awards and won Best Supporting actor in Good Will Hunting. He also won two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and five Grammy Awards.
