Mark Jerrold Henry (born June 12th, 1971) is an American former powerlifter, Olympic weightlifter, strongman and professional wrestler working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a coach, commentator, and talent scout. His long and successful career in WWE is among his most famous. He was a two time WWE world champion, a two-time Olympian (1992 1996), and the gold, silver, and bronze medalist at Pan American Games 1995. He was an WDFPF World Champion (1995), a two-time U.S. National Champion (1995 and 1997) as well as a U.S. National Champion (1995, 1997). He also holds the WDFPF records for deadlift, total, and squat since 1995. He is believed to be the most powerful raw squat as well as powerlifting totals ever recorded by an athlete who has been tested for drugs regardless of the weight class, and also the most powerful raw deadlift by an American citizen.
