Kyle Miyata Larson[1] was born July 31, 1992 and is an American professional driver in auto racing. He is the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. Larson is the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, the 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East winner and Rookie of Year as well as the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, and the 2014 Cup Series Rookie of the Year. Larson was a highly accomplished dirt track racer, winning in prestigious races such as the Kings Royal, Knoxville Nationals and Chili Bowl Nationals. In 2015, he was also the overall winner of 24 Hours of Daytona's sport car race. He won it by teaming up with Chip Ganassi Racing.
