Jennifer Anne Garner was born on the 17th of April, 1972. Garner is an American actress. Her role as CIA Officer Sydney Bristow on the ABC television series Alias (2001 to 2006) and her romantic comedy 13 Going on 30 (2004) are well-known. Garner has won numerous awards, including the Screen Actors Guild Award, the Golden Globe Award, and the Screen Actors Guild Award, with four nominations for the Primetime Emmy. She is also well-known for her character of Sydney Bristow as CIA officer, on ABC's television show, a spy-action thriller called Alias (2001-2006). Garner began acting understudy at Roundabout Theatre Company, New York City. Her screen debut was in the adaptation for television of Danielle Steel's romance novel Zoya in 1995. Her TV roles included guest and support roles as and a character in Time of Your Life (1999-2000) as well as Pearl Harbor (2001). Garner was most well-known for her character of Sydney Bristow, CIA officer in ABC's spy-action thriller TV series Alias (2001 until the year 2006). The actress was awarded four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Actress In a Drama Series and the Golden Globe for Best Actress Television Series Drama. The performance she gave in 13 Going on 30 (2004) was praised, and she was later cast to portray Elektra in the superhero films Daredevil 2003 and Elektra 2005. Her commercial success continued with her performances in Juno (2007) as well as the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2010).
