Jeffree Star

 In 2014, Star founded his e-commerce makeup brand, Jeffree Star Cosmetics.In the five-part docuseries by Shane Dawson, Star stated that his career in music had left him essentially bankrupt and that he saved his money to launch his own makeup business. Star began to promote the brand using YouTube videos. The result was Star's YouTube channel gaining 17.4 million subscribers with over 2.4 billion views by October 2020. [40] Bustle magazine described Star as "a musician and onetime MySpace star who transformed himself into the YouTube makeup tutorials. The first release of cosmetics was a line of velour liquid lipsticks. The line was then followed by eyeshadow palettes as well as highlighter palettes. Morphe Cosmetics opened its first East Coast store in Paramus, New Jersey.
