 Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4 in 1969), known professionally as Jay-Z is a famous American musician, rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and founder of the Manhattan-based conglomerate of talent and entertainment agency Roc Nation. He is regarded as one the most influential hip-hop artists. He was the director of Def Jam Recordings and he was instrumental in the commercial and creative success of many artists, including Kanye West, Rihanna, and J.
