After participating in the 1996 Mister World contest, in Istanbul, Turkey, Gabriel began modeling at the age of 18. He was the first runner-up. In 2013, he starred with Gloria Trevi in the role of Rodrigo Torreslanda. His last starring role in the telenovela Yo no creo en los hombres, that was widely acclaimed.
