Bostick was born in Toronto, Ontario. His mother Stephanie Gorin is a casting director in Toronto who is a stage and screen and Joe Bostick, his father Joe Bostick, is an actor and film fight coordinator. He is of British and Norwegian descent. Devon began acting when in grade five. He was a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts, Toronto. He appeared in the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation and Flashpoint,[6] as as in the movie Citizen Duane. He also participated in the series premier of Rookie Blue. His film work has included parts in Godsend Fugitive Pieces and The Stone Angel In Adoration (2008) in which he played Simon the boy who was is raised by his uncle (played by Scott Speedman) after his parents' death. A trailer online for a flimsy film called "Ice Fortress" also featured him. He starred in The Poet, a World War II drama that starred Roy Scheider, Colm Feore and Ezio Auditore. [8] He was Alan in three episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
