Bernie Mac

 Bernard Jeffrey McCullough, October 5, 1957 - August 9th 2008, more popularly known as Bernie Mac, was an American comedian. Born and raised in Chicago's South Side, Mac gained fame as a stand-up comic. Mac was a comedian who performed alongside Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer as well as D. L. Hughley in the film The Original Kings of Comedy.After briefly hosting the HBO show Midnight Mac, Mac appeared in numerous films, albeit in minor roles. The most well-known roles in films included Frank Catton in the 2001 remake of Ocean's 11 and as the lead character in Mr. 3000. The series that ran from 2001 to 2006 it was rewarded with two Emmy Award nominations as Outstanding Lead Actor in an Comedy Series.
