Ayato is an egocentric prankster with an obsession with being the most successful due to his mom's influence on him. Ayato is known as the family's troublemaker, loves to cause mischief and seeks attention. Ayato is a bully one who teases and loves to harass others. He even tells anyone to refer to him as "Ayato" when the latter is not present. He refers to himself the majority of the time as "Ore-sama" (Yours Indeed in the English Dub) and refers to Yui as "Chichinashi" Chichinashi (Breastless or Pancake in the English Dub).Ayato is extremely active and enjoys sports, with basketball is his preferred. Ayato has said that everything is fine as long as there's a goal to reach to and that sports is his forte. He also has a passion for torture devices; like the Iron Maiden that can be found in his bedroom that he uses to make a bed (the spikes have been removed).
