Taylor Swift

 Taylor Alison Swift, born on 13 December 1989, is an American artist and singer. Her discography covers a variety of genres and her narrative songwriting--often inspired by her personal life--has received critical praise and widespread media attention. Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and relocated to Nashville at the age of 14 years old. In 2004 she signed a songwriting contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and in 2005, she signed a recording agreement with Big Machine Records. The self-titled debut album she released in 2006 was the first female country singer to co-write or write an US platinum-certified album entirely.Swift's forthcoming albums, Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010), explored country pop. The first album's "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me" were the first country tracks to top the US pop and all-genre charts as well. Red (2012) featured Swift's debut Billboard Hot 100 number one track, "We Are Never Ever Going Back Together". She also experimented with the styles of rock and electronic. 1989 (2014) saw Swift drop her country image and be an artist of synth-pop. The album was supported by the chart-topping tracks "Shake It off", "Blank Space", "Bad Blood" and "Bad Blood". Swift quit Big Machine in 2017 to sign with Republic Records and release her seventh studio album, Lover (2019), and the autobiographical documentary Miss Americana 2020. She ventured into the realm of indie folk and alternative rock with her albums for 2020, Folklore and Evermore, whose singles "Cardigan" as well as "Willow" were atop the Hot 100. Swift started re-recording her initial six albums after a dispute over their masters, re-releasing two albums in 2021: Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version). The Hot 100's longest-running song was the latter's "All Too Well (10 minute version)". The first track, "Anti-Hero", from her tenth album Midnights (2022), broke many streaming records. Swift has directed her own music videos, as well as films like All Too Well The Short Film (2021) and has also performed part in supporting roles in other projects.
