Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Dee Lohan (/'loU.@n/ LOH-@n, born July 2nd, 1986)[4] is an American actor and singer. [5] Lohan was born in New York City, and grew up in Long Island. She was signed to Ford Models when she was three years old. Having appeared as an actor on the television soap opera Another World at age 10 Her breakthrough came with the Walt Disney Pictures film The Parent Trap (1998). The film's success led her to appearances on TV's Life-Size (2000), Get a Clue (2002) and big-screen productions Freaky Friday (2003) as well as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Her early work helped earn her stardom. The teen-friendly comedy Mean Girls (2004) established her status as an idol. She also appeared in the television film Life-Size (2000) and Get a Clue (2002). Lohan was also a triple threat when she signed with Casablanca Records, releasing two studio albums: platinum-certified Speak (2004) as well as the gold-certified album A Little More Personal(Raw) (2006). Herbie: Fully Loaded (2006) and Just My Luck (2006) were also roles she played. To show off her range, Lohan began choosing roles in independent films like A Prairie Home Companion and Bobby (both 2006) and Chapter 27 (2007). The behavior she displayed during the production of the drama Georgia Rule in 2006 marked the start of a series of personal struggles that would plague her career and life throughout the following decade. A number of court appearances, legal problems and stints in rehabilitation centers resulted in her becoming a regular figure in tabloid media. She lost several roles in this time and this negatively affected her career and public image. In an attempt to return to acting her career, she appeared in Liz & Dick (2012) and The Canyons (2013), however both received negative reviews.
