Christina Ricci

 American actress Christina Ricci (/’ri:tSi/REE-chee, born on February 12 the 12th of February, 1980), is also known as Christina Ricci. She is known for her quirky characters with a dark side,[2Ricci has a reputation for playing dark characters. Ricci mostly appears in independent productions, however she has also been a part of many box office smashes and, to the present, her films have grossed more than US$1.4 billion. Ricci is the recipient of several accolades, including a National Board of Review Award and an Satellite Award, in addition to nominations for the Golden Globe, two Primetime Emmys, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.Ricci made her film debut at age nine with Mermaids (1990) in which was followed by her breakthrough role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel, Addams Family Values (1993). Her subsequent appearances in Casper and Now and Then (1995) made her a "teen iconic character". Her career began as an adult actor at the age of 17 with The Ice Storm (1997). This led to roles in films like Buffalo '66 (both 1998) and Pecker (both 1998). Her performances in The Opposite of Sex (1998), Sleepy Hollow (1999) and Monster (2003) brought her acclaim. Other credits include Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), Prozac Nation (2001), Pumpkin (2002), Anything Else (2003), Cursed (2005), Penelope (2006), Black Snake Moan (2006), Speed Racer (2008) as well as The Matrix Resurrections (2021).On television, Ricci appeared as Liza Bump in the final season of Ally McBeal (2002), and received acclaim for her role as a guest on Grey's Anatomy in 2006. In addition to her role in the role of Maggie Ryan in ABC's Pan Am (2011-12), Ricci was also a producer and star in the upcoming series Z: The Beginning of Everything (2017). She currently appears as Misty Quigley on the critically acclaimed Showtime series Yellowjackets (2021-present). Ricci voiced characters in animated films and also voiced the voices of Speed Racer: The Videogame (2008). Ricci's Broadway debut was in Time Stands Still in 2010. Ricci is the national spokesperson for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN). She is married with two children.
