Sofia Richie

 Sofia Richie was born in Los Angeles, California to parents Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander. She is Miles Richie's younger sister. Sofia Richie's godfather was the singer Michael Jackson. Paris Richie said that her childhood memories of Jackson's Neverland Ranch included visits to the Neverland Ranch. She also became close to Michael Jackson when she was an teen. She learned to sing at age five and play the piano at age seven. When she reached 14 years old, older, she appeared at her father’s shows. She also had vocal lessons with Tim Carter (vocal coach). Joel Madden, who was her brother-in law, and Good Charlotte lead singer, was also her assistant in the studio. She chose to leave music because she felt the pressure to perform to her father's music industry stature. She appeared in a variety of episodes on her sister Nicole's reality television show Candidly Nicole in 2014.Richie spent some time at Oaks Christian School, which was nicknamed "Celebrity High"--before being taught at home for several years when her father was traveling. She played soccer until the age of 16 when she broke her hip in the course of a Segway accident.
