 Eilleen Regina Twain Edwards, born August 28 1965, is a Canadian artist and singer. She is the most-sold female country artist in history. She is she is one of the most-sold musicians in the history of music. Her success has earned her numerous awards such as "Queen of Country Pop". [5][66 Billboard declared her the leader of the '90s country-pop crossover stars.Raised in Timmins, Ontario, Twain pursued singing and songwriting from a young age before signing with Mercury Nashville Records in the early 1990s. Twain's self-titled debut album failed commercially. She teamed up with Robert John "Mutt", Lange to produce The Woman in Me (1995), her second studio album. The album earned her many accolades. The album sold over 20 million copies in total worldwide and spawned eight songs, including "Any Man of Mine". It also earned Twain the Grammy Award. "10" Her third studio album, Come on Over (1997) was the top-selling studio album of female artists in any genre, as well as the most popular country album of all time and sold more than 40 million copies around the world. 11] Come On Over released 12 singles which included "You're Still the One", "From This Moment On", "That Don't Impress me Much" and "Man! "I Feel Like a Woman!" and won Twain four Grammy Awards. Her fourth studio album, Up! (2002), spawned eight singles, including "I'm Gonna Getcha Good! ", "Ka-Ching!" and "Forever and for Always" and "Forever and For Always," which has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide as well as being certified Diamond in the United States.
